Don't miss Nathaniel's second-crop yearlings

Nathaniel will once again be represented by some regally bred yearlings at Tattersalls over the next few weeks.  So don't miss your chance to purchase progeny by this brilliant three-year-old and four-year-old from a Classic family. A family who improve dramatically from two to three - between 30lbs to 50lbs:

  •     Nathaniel went from 91 at two to 127 by July at three.
  •     Nathaniel's full-sister Great Heavens went from 65 at two to 115 by July at three
  •     Nathaniel's half-brother Percussionist (Sadler's Wells) went from 75 at two to 121 by June at three.
  •     Nathaniel's half-sister Changing Skies (Sadler's Wells) went from 76 at two to 111 by August at three.

In addition, his dam Magnificient Style didn't run at two and won by six lengths on her career debut in early April at three, and in May she beat the Classic winner Sil Sila to win the Muisidora.

Then, of course, his sire Galileo's own racing and stud career followed a similar path, with his first crop only making their mark at three+, including the likes of Red Rocks, Allegretto, Purple Moon, Nightime, Sixties Icon etc.

It is no surprise therefore that Nathaniel's first few two-year-olds to run are receiving similar comments from Timeform, notably: Ronald R 91p- 'remains with potential', Walter Raleigh 90p - 'will go on improving', Glencadam Glory 88p - 'open to further improvement', Paulownia 86p - 'likely to progress further', Nathania 80 - 'remains with potential, particularly for next year', etc.

With over 80 regally bred first-crop horses still to run by this winner of the Gr.1 King George & Queen Elizabeth Stakes and Gr.1 Coral Eclipse, it will be exciting to see his progeny follow in the family footsteps in 2017.
