'Magnificient' first foals by Nathaniel on offer at the sales

A selection of Nathaniel’s first foals will be on offer at the forthcoming foal sales.  Supported by a syndicate of the World’s leading breeders with a first book of 148 mares there are high hopes his foals at the sales will be warmly received.

Out of the ‘magnificient’ mare Magnificient Style, Nathaniel is the best bred son of Galileo, and a World Champion three-year-old, having won the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes Gr.1 at three and Coral-Eclipse Gr.1 at four.

Nathaniel is represented by just three quality foals at Goffs this week.  A colt out of a Stakes winner from the family of Lui Rei and My Central (Lot 521);  a filly out of a half-sister to Gr.1 winner Zahrat Dubai (Lot 839); and a filly out of a Gr.1 performer and half-sister multiple Gr.1 winner Gourment Girl (Lot 966).

The following week at Tattersalls there are 19 yearlings by Nathaniel at the December Foal Sale.

These are headed up by the Newsells Park Stud bred filly out of Our Queen of Kings, a half-sister to Gr.1 winner and Stakes producer Spinning Queen, whose half-sister yearling by Sea The Stars recently sold for 600,000gns (Lot 778).

Another sibling to a Gr.1 winner is the half-sister to Gr.1 Irish 2,000 Guineas winner Cockney Rebel (Lot 1097) consigned by Blagdon Stud who also offer a filly out of a daughter of Gr.1 winner Sulk, half-sister to Gr.1 winners Eagle Mountain and Dank (Lot 1100).

More Stakes siblings include a half-brother to French Gr.2 winner Captain Marvelous consigned by Jockey Hall Stud (Lot 1107); Bearstone Stud offer a half-brother to Group winners Romantic Myth and Romantic Liason (Lot 866); and New England Stud has a half-brother to Stakes winner Navajo Chief out of a half-sister to Mus-If (Lot 772).

In addition there are half-brothers to US Stakes winner Julie’s Love from the family of Puce and Pongee (Lot 881), and Group winner Crius (Lot 902) at this sale.

Nathaniel will also be represented by several foals out of own/half-sisters to Gr.1 winners, including Only Royale (Lot 915); Compton Admiral and Summoner from the family of The Fugue (Lot 1050); Armiger (Lot 1106), Kutub (Lot 1173); and Kingsbarns (Lot 1062) offered by Trickledown Stud.

Trickledown Stud also offer a colt of out the Group winner Walk On Bye, a daughter of Gr.1 winner Pipalong (Lot 1066).

In addition there is a colt out of a half-sister to multiple Group winner Midnight Line consigned by Cheveley Park Stud (Lot 931); and Laundry Cottage Stud offer a colt out of a half-sister to Group winner Brazilian Bride from the family of Sequoyah and Henrythenavigator (Lot 1196).
